近日，Apple正在iOS 16 Beta 4测试Edge和Chrome浏览器透过Apple Pay付款功能，不再限制自家Safari才能使用Apple Pay，这也表示Apple打算开放第三方浏览器也能够使用Apple Pay支付功能。
开发者Steve Moser在iOS 16 Beta 4内发现，利用Edge透过Apple Store官网付款时，已经能够使用Apple Pay进行支付交易，以往iOS 15只能限定Safari浏览器才能够使用，无法在第三方浏览器上使用Apple Pay支付。
也有用户发现iOS 16 Beta 2也能够透过Firefox使用Apple Pay支付，反而macOS Ventura最新测试版，依旧限制Safari才能够使用Apple Pay功能，不确定Apple何时会正式对外公开Apple Pay相容第三方浏览器消息，外媒也有向Apple询问，至今尚未回应说明。
