8月3日上午，日本召集第209届临时国会。
据日本广播协会（NHK）8月3日报道，继上月日本参议院选举后，第209届临时国会于3日召开。自民党人尾辻秀久当选参议院议长，立宪民主党人长滨博行当选副议长。
此次临时国会为期三天，将于5日结束。
