据央视新闻，7月7日，中铁工业旗下中铁工服研制的中国首台动力分散式新能源电机车在重庆发布，将应用于中建五局三公司、中建六局桥梁公司承建的重庆轨道交通15号线06标项目。在不增加机车轴重的前提下，该车相较传统电机车可提升牵引力50%以上，节约动力能耗超过20%。
