根据名记Chris Haynes的报道，奥托-波特已经和猛龙达成两年签约协议，新赛季这名前锋将在多伦多效力。
猛龙记者Josh Lewenberg跟进报道，波特被认为得到了猛龙今年中产特例中的大部分。
每支球队每年都有一个中产特例，可以一次用在一名球员身上，也可以拆开去签约多名球员。总薪资已经超过奢侈税线的有交税版中产特例（今年649万），总薪资在工资帽和奢侈税线之间的有全额中产特例（今年1050万），总薪资没有达到工资帽的有空间中产特例（今年540万），猛龙今年拥有的是全额中产。
