戈守智，字达夫，号汉溪，浙江平湖人。天才卓越，与杭董浦、历樊榭、诸草庐交善。尝游扬州、汉阳，遇碑碣辄手自摩拓，归而庋诸楼，榜之曰帖海。书法杨凝式、欧阳询，晚乃出入诸家，于颜真卿称嫡嗣。暇以隶法写墨竹，然随兴偶及，不多作也。卒年六十七。著有汉溪书法通解、汉溪偕存集、邗江杂咏、入楚吟、紫琅小草。
