SATA-IO 网站列出了即将推出的 Threadripper PRO 5000 系列，很可能会在明年发布。该文件确认下一代 AMD 高性能台式机处理器确实将被称为 PRO 5000 WX 系列。
据悉因为Threadripper PRO 5000处理器会兼容 SATA 3GB 和 6GB 接口。AMD需要正式声明接口标准，因此无意中泄露了即将推出的产品。
根据最新消息，基于 Zen3架构的 Threadripper 系列将于 2022 年 3 月 8 日亮相。AMD高性能台式机处理器很可能会在 1 月 4 日的 CES 2022 期间的 AMD 新闻发布会上公布，但需要注意的是Threadripper PRO 系列并非针对普通消费者，而是针对寻求高性能工作站和专业用户。
