11月18日，2021年两院院士增选结果正式揭晓，共有149人当选。其中，中国科学院增选院士65人，中国工程院增选院士84人。
本次增选后，中国科学院共有院士860名，外籍院士129名；中国工程院院士总数为971名，外籍院士总数为111名。
