当地时间周四(11月4日)，英国央行维持利率在0.10%不变，出乎市场预料，加息期望落空。会后，投资者认为12月加息的可能性约为60%，远低于11月会议上100%加息的可能性。英镑兑美元录得逾六周最大跌幅，英债价格跳涨。当日，汇丰控股(HSBA)放量下跌2.5%。
