据“南海战略态势感知”智库官方微博31日消息，10月31日上午，包括美空军1架WC-135W核物质侦察机、1架E-8C空地监视机及美海军2架P-8A反潜巡逻机、1架EP-3E电子侦察机在内的5架侦察机前往南海活动。
其中，WC-135W核侦察机能够收集大气中的放射性微粒，在南海活动十分罕见，其上一次在南海行动可追溯至2020年1月。
