清朝中期，每年农历六月初一到十九，四川广安华蓥山宝鼎举行隆重庙会。远近信众敲锣打鼓，到宝鼎拜佛，以求五谷丰登。云童舞是信众上山的开道舞。云童由十一二岁的小孩扮演，边走边舞，直达宝鼎。云童舞是汉民族“以歌舞乐神娱神”的典型表达。目前云童舞是四川省非遗项目（封面新闻记者 汪仁洪）。
