2016年，李雪江被任命为楚雄州大姚县人民法院党组书记、院长。2019年7月9日，李雪江在前往楚雄州参加州政法系统2019年政治轮训途中发生交通事故，不幸逝世，年仅42岁。作为一名共产党员，李雪江扎根基层法院。为有效破解困扰法院多年的“执行难”，他把自己编入执行团队，3年共受理各类执行案件2620件，执结2292件，执结标的9535.21万元。
