6月8日，天水麦积区林业和草原局会同天水市野生动物保护管理站，成功救助了一只国家二级野生保护动物毛冠鹿，经过治疗后将其放归森林。
近年来，麦积区不断加大野生动植物资源保护力度，全区生态环境得到很大改善，森林植被更加茂盛，珍稀野生动物数量和种类不断增加。
