2月9日下午，中国-世卫组织新冠病毒溯源研究联合专家组召开新闻发布会。会上，中方专家梁万年表示，实验室泄露不外两种途径，人工合成或病毒泄露。人工合成早就被证实不可能，而实验室内根本没有新冠病毒，谈何泄露？因此，根据现在的认识和判断，病毒由实验室泄露所引发极不可能。
