大众集团中国CEO冯思翰（Stephan Wollenstein ）周三表示，由于全球芯片供应短缺影响其生产，该公司去年12月在中国的销量损失达到数万辆。
大众是中国市场最大的外国汽车制造商。此前包括福特、丰田和日产在内的一些车企都表示，他们由于芯片短缺而被迫在本月削减产量。
