屯门-赤鱲角隧道将于本月27日（周日）全面开通。
届时，屯门至赤鱲角隧道及青屿干线的收费将会豁免。
整条连接路全面开通后，屯门南和香港国际机场路程缩短22公里，较现时节省约20分钟车程，能纾缓屯门南经屯门公路以至一带道路的挤塞。
与此同时，「港珠澳大桥港车北上不设配额计划」亦会推行，合资格的香港私家车毋须取得常规配额，便可经港珠澳大桥进出广东省。
