北京市密云区是首都北京重要的生态涵养区和水源保护地，北京的“大水缸”——密云水库已经滋养了北京城60载。近年来，密云区依靠绿水青山的优势，大力发展都市型现代农业、高端休闲旅游业、乡村民俗旅游业及健康养生业等绿色产业，走出一条北京生态涵养区绿色发展的新路子。
