8月31日，河南汝南县发改委回应“殡仪馆8天2万元天价停尸费”案，称殡仪馆停尸费定价每日不超100元，县殡仪馆收费超标20多倍，系乱收费。8月28日，汝南县殡仪馆起诉死者家属和医院索要停尸费案开庭。庭审中，殡仪馆因无法出示收费依据，被审判员驳斥。汝南县发改委相关负责人称，殡仪馆曾因违规收费被罚没90余万元，此次超标收费将由当地市监局调查处理。
