For humans, the role of the sea is very important. The ocean covers 360 million square kilometers, or 71 percent of the planet's surface area. The ocean area is an important platform and powerful support for human beings to engage in economic and social activities, which provides broad space for the optimal allocation of production factors and resources. Ocean resources and land resources complement each other, forming unique industries, products and services, and providing a strong guarantee to meet the growing needs of the people for a better life. In addition, the ocean also has special military, political, cultural, ecological and other functions. The correct and scientific use of the ocean can not only bring benefits to all countries, but also contribute to the common development and progress of human society.
Novel insights or advancements on a Community of Shared Future for Ocean are important ways for mankind to achieve common prosperity and progress. The purpose of this special issue is to explore novel technologies or great advancement including Mathematical physics problems in the ocean, the role of the ocean in the economy, human activities closely related to ocean, marine climate, marine energy, marine fisheries, Marine dynamic process etc., with a focus on its specific application under the influence of the ocean such as marine resource development, disaster prevention and reduction, etc., in hope of providing scientific reference and decision-making assistance for the decision makers, researchers and engineers engaged in the construction of the Community of Shared Future for Ocean, thus to promote the sustainable development of mankind and oceans

Potential topics include but are not limited to the following:
l Novel technologies and equipment for ocean observation
l Climatic characteristics of oceanic and meteorological elements
l Oceanic and meteorological short-term forecast and long-term projection
l Marine energy such as wave energy, wind energy, flammable ice and so on
l Marine dynamic process such as ocean inner wave, the kuroshio, the mesoscale vortex and so on
l Coastal dynamic environment and coastal power protection
l Estuarine dynamic environment and estuarine coastal landform
l Marine fishery related activities such as the sea fisheries, deep sea culture
l Tropical ocean variability and weather & climate anomalies
l The combination between the ocean and artificial intelligence

对于人类来说，海洋的作用是非常重要的。海洋覆盖3.6亿平方公里，占地球表面积的71%。海洋是人类从事经济社会活动的重要平台和有力支撑，为生产要素和资源的优化配置提供了广阔空间。海洋资源和陆地资源相辅相成，形成了独特的产业、产品和服务，为满足人民日益增长的美好生活需求提供了有力保障。此外，海洋还具有特殊的军事、政治、文化、生态等功能。正确、科学地利用海洋，不仅有利于各国，也有利于人类社会的共同发展和进步。
创新海洋命运共同体理念，推进海洋命运共同体建设，是人类实现共同繁荣进步的重要途径。本期期刊的目的是探索新的技术或重大进步，包括海洋中的数学物理问题, 海洋在经济中的作用、与海洋密切相关的人类活动、海洋气候、海洋能源、海洋渔业、海洋动力过程等，人类活动密切相关的海洋,海洋气候、海洋能源、海洋渔业、海洋动态过程等， 重点研究其在海洋影响下的具体应用，如海洋资源开发、防灾减灾等，希望为参与构建海洋命运共同体的决策者、研究者和工程师提供科学参考和决策帮助，促进人类和海洋的可持续发展。
可能的主题包括但不限于以下内容:
海洋观测的新技术和新设备
海洋气象要素的气候特征
海洋和气象的短期预报和长期预测
海洋能如海浪能、风能、可燃冰等
海洋动力过程如海洋内波、黑潮、中尺度涡旋等
沿海动态环境和沿海动力保护
河口动态环境和河口沿海地貌
海洋渔业相关活动如海洋渔业、深海文化
热带海洋变化和天气与气候异常
海洋和人工智能的结合
