从2020年7月开始，预定在MBS·TBS·BS-TBS“动画主义”档播出的TV动漫「租借女友」。宣布其片头曲由the peggies担任，片尾曲由halca先生担任。
动画导演由古贺一臣担任，角色设计由平山宽菜担任，音乐由希达因担任，而动画制作则由汤姆斯娱乐公司负责。
此次，本作品的片头曲由3人女子乐队“the peggies”担任，片尾曲由曾担任过多首动画歌曲的halca担任。
