对于此事，7日下午，学校宣传部一名老师回应称，目前微积分、音符WiFi密码还只在校区食堂推行，以后会考虑在全校范围内推行。同时，老师也表示一般大家都可以解开。“我们此举一方面是让大家感受到数学的趣味，另一方面也给学习高数的大一新生们提个醒，让他们好好学习，否则WiFi密码都解不开”。
