黑莓移动部门经理Alex Thurber称，黑莓Priv几乎可以确定不会获得Android 7.0的系统升级。

至于原因，Alex Thurber并没有给出合理的解释。这款手机在发布之时出厂预装Android 5.1.1系统，2016年4月升级Android 6.0系统，从那之后就再也没有升级过Android的系统版本，不过每月的安全补丁更新倒是没有中断。
对黑莓而言，年初发布、8月初国内发布的黑莓KEYone显然肩负了更重的担子，希望黑莓能够成功翻身吧
